This workshop focuses on understanding and using motivation intentionally to support both skill acquisition and overall quality of life. Participants will explore how motivation varies across individuals, settings, and time, and how assuming something is motivating can unintentionally limit learning. The session will address common traps in reinforcement, the impact of a limited motivation bank on learning and engagement, and practical strategies for expanding motivation in meaningful ways. Emphasis will be placed on using motivation not only to teach skills, but to increase participation, independence, and long-term well-being.
We hope to see you there!!
